Hi everyone!
After a busy spring quarter at UCLA, I am now back from my hiatus and restarting this blog. This summer, I will be studying for my MCAT, but this blog will be a practical application of what I will learn (also, it will help keep me sane from all of endless hours of studying...oh joy!).
Anyhow, my plan is write an entry every week. Most likely every Thursday, as that is when is most convenient for me out of all of the days in the week. I will be writing about different topics - spices, foods, physical activity, etc. So, look forward to that!
I will also keep up with the progress photos. Here is the current progress photos as of today.
Current status: 185 pounds, 6' 0''. 22 years old (6/26/14).
The previous quarter definitely took a toll on my health, as the late nights with "black-eye" coffee and blueberry muffins did not help. Anyhow, no excuses from here on out. My goals this summer include not only to get a 45 on my MCAT but also get back into shape with healthy foods and exercises. There are no short-cuts when it comes to a healthy lifestyle. Also, as I am on the track of a MD/PhD, I am going to treat this blog as a research project. It will help keep track of my progress where I am the subject. Hopefully, we will see the results as predicted. However, like with everything in life, there are no guarantees.
